Who We Are
The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center is an integral part of the Army University, maintaining the knowledge repositories that support scholarship and research about the U.S. Army and its operating environment. The mission statement of USAHEC reflects the convergence of library books, archival materials, and museum artifacts into a single collection of knowledge that supports learning and research, while prioritizing support to patron communities.

The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center collects, preserves, and presents materials related to the evolution and application of landpower at echelon, as well as the experiences of American Soldiers, to build a foundation for adaptive leadership and to connect the United States Army to the public.

USAHEC is the Army's foremost institution for educational and historical landpower resources, driving transformation and distributing knowledge to strengthen the Army's strategic and operational effectiveness.
